An MP is putting celebrating Christmas by spending 12 days telling his constituents how he spends his time serving them.
Carshalton and Wallington MP Tom Brake is taking to social networking for 12 days between Monday, December 10 and Friday, December 21, to tell people what he is doing each day as a local MP, a Government minister and as someone who lives in the constituency.
Mr Brake said: "It’s a great way to keep residents informed about how I represent them and it will get the community into the Christmas spirit. It’s a winning combination for everyone!"
He will be using Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr on all of the 12 days to keep people up to date. He added: "A picture is worth a thousand words, so Tumblr will give the twelve days of Christmas an exciting visual component. I’m looking forward to spreading the joy of Christmas to my constituents and beyond!"
