Firefighters tackle blaze in West Croydon
Firefighters have been called to a fire in West Croydon.
Crews were called to the blaze at a flat on the third floor of St Michael's Court on Poplar Walk at 4.45pm.
A spokeswoman for London Fire Brigade confirmed 25 percent of the six room flat is alight and three fire engines are down at the scene.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are using a hose reel and jet to put out the blaze.
Some bus routes are affected by the fire.
Metro Bus have confirmed the route 64 is currently unable to serve Poplar Walk or West Croydon Station towards New Addington.
