Sutton’s Police Cadets and the Safer Transport team have been advising people on how to be safe from pickpockets.
Hundreds of leaflets offering advice to passengers were handed out last on Saturday, December 15.
Tips included telling people to be aware of what is happening around them, to keep their bags fastened and to make sure valuables are not on show.
