A person died after being hit by a train at Earlsfield Station last night.
British Transport Police and the London Ambulance Service were called to the station just before 6pm.
Police have confirmed someone was struck by a train at the station, but are yet to give any more details.
London Ambulance Service said the person was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident is being treated as non-suspicious.
The station was closed yesterday evening, with trains still being affected this morning.
Twitter users at the scene have been posting comments on the micro-blogging site.
Luisa Pianese said: "Today I saw a person hit by a train at Earlsfield so sad."
