Police investigation into major pub brawl in Coulsdon

Police are investigating a major incident at a pub in Chipstead, Coulsdon.

Sources have told the Croydon Guardian that there were multiple stabbings at the Midday Sun pub on Tuesday evening at about 7pm.

A witness said there was a massive brawl involving 20 people where at least three people were stabbed.

The pub was still cordoned off by police tape this morning, with police still present at the scene.

South East Coast Ambulance service confirmed they were called to the pub at 6.57pm. They said police were involved. Both police and ambulance refused to give any more details.

Surrey Police have yet to confirm what happened at the pub.
