The family of missing teenager Shelley Pratt have not given up hope finding their daughter nine weeks after her disappearance.

Lisa and Tony Pratt, Shelley’s parents, said they hoped the teenager would be back in time for Christmas and the New Year. They have left Shelley’s presents on her bed for when she returns.

The 14-year-old, who attends Westwood College, was last seen on CCTV on Friday November 9 walking along High Street with a black man close to Reflex Bar at just after midnight.

Shortly after, her Oyster card was used to board a route 60 bus towards Coulsdon.

Mrs Pratt, speaking at the family’s home in South Norwood, said it had been a horrible Christmas and New Year without their daughter.

She said: “We feel like we have come to a dead end at the moment but we will carry on. We have looked everywhere. We even went out Christmas Eve to look for her.

“Tony didn’t open any of his presents and won’t open them until she comes home. Her presents are on her bed.

“We were going to take the Christmas lights down but we are going to keep them up so when she comes back we can switch them on again.”

Mrs Pratt added: “It is horrible. We haven’t had a proper night’s sleep since she has gone. Tony is on anti-depressants as well. The family just want to know if she is safe.

“It is just an awful situation.”

Shelley Pratt is last seen wearing her school uniform trousers and a distinctive dark purple hooded jumper with the slogan 'I love (heart symbol) London.'

She is described as white and around 5'6" or 5'7" inches tall with long brown hair. Anyone with information should call the incident room on 020 8721 4906.
