Competition launched to find the best books for children and teens
A competition has been launched to find the best books for children and teenagers at Croydon libraries.
The Council's Book Buster Awards will go to the top titles in four age ranges including under fives, five to seven, eight to 10 and 11-16s.
Results will be based on a public vote and anyone taking part could win a Whitgift shopping voucher when the winners are announced on March 7, World Book Day.
The shortlisted books include a mix of new titles and old favourites and have been chosen by library staff.
The competition is open until February 23.
For more information on how to vote and for a list of the shortlisted books visit croydon.gov.uk/bookbusters.
