Croydon businesses to get free Google training in using the internet
Businesses will be able to take advantage of a free Google training seminar next month.
On Friday February 1, representatives from Google will meet Croydon business owners to offer free advice and tips on how to make the most of the internet.
The event includes free digital consultations as part of a drive to help business owners improve their computer skills.
It has been organised by Croydon Central MP Gavin Barwell in attempt to encourage Croydon businesses to use the internet effectively.
Mr Barwell said: “A successful online presence is vital for business. Successful small businesses mean a strong local economy.
“I hope that as many entrepreneurs as possible take advantage of the free expertise on offer from Google.”
The free consultations are taking place at Croydon Town Hall, 9 Katharine Street, Croydon from 2pm until 5pm. Visit gbbo.co.uk/googlejuicebar to sign up.
