A student from Croydon College was chosen to teach at a Croydon school as part of a new initiative.

Further Education Awards Winner, Hannah-Corrine Patterson was selected to work with Year 11 pupils in Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy.

Hannah gained teaching skills by delivering hairdressing related learning activities to pupils as part of the college’s School Relations team’s initiative to support schools in encouraging post-16 education.

She said: “I’ve been doing a five week workshop with the girls teaching aspects of hairdressing, developing hairdressing techniques they want to learn and providing them with vocational activities to help them develop on their course.”
