Meeting arranged to discuss health implications of planned Beddington Lane ERF
People will be able to discuss the potential health implications of controversial plans to build a new waste disposal plant next month.
The South London Waste Partnership wants to build an energy recovery facility on the landfill site in Beddington Lane on the Sutton/Croydon border.
The company behind the ERF, Viridor, says the plant will convert waste which would go into landfill into energy but opponents have raised concerns about the emissions it will put out.
Croydon Healthwatch Pathfinder and the West Croydon Community Forum have arranged a public meeting to discuss the development and how it will affect neighbours' health on at the CVA Resource centre, London Road, West Croydon on Tuesday, February 5, from 7pm to 8.30pm.

And so far The Croydon Torys have voted in favour if the Incinerator. Every challenge by Labour has been block-voted out ( opposed & stopped ) by The Croydon Torys.
One Tory Cllr even thinks the emissions are safe as they're odour free.

London Borough of Suttons Hackbridge regeneration scheme depends on the energy supplied from the plant and that is all they care about.
Put in some FOIs if i were you and try to get a judicial review...its your only hope.
