Croydon has a new stand in Borough Commander.
Chief Superintendent Dave Musker is currently completing a senior police strategic command course and will be away until April 15 2013.
Chief Superintendent Richard Wood is joining Croydon from his post as Greenwich Borough Commander.
He said: “I’m delighted to be at Croydon and I’m looking forward to building upon the excellent work that Dave and the team here at Croydon have been doing.
“Although I’m only here for a relatively short period of time until Dave’s return, I’m 100% committed to making Croydon an even safer place.”
