Two lanes remain closed following the accident
Two lanes of traffic have been closed on the A23 Purley Way following an accident.
London Ambulance were called to Purley Way at the junction with Edgehill Road at 10.53am, to reports of a road traffic collision.
A spokeswoman said they sent a single responder in a car and an ambulance crew to the scene.
She said: "Our staff treated one patient, a woman reported to be in her 70's, but she wasn't taken to hospital."
Traffic continues to queue and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
