Shelley Pratt is yet to return home after she was found in Croydon yesterday.

The 14-year-old is still in the care of social services.

It is understood the 14-year-old did not walk into Croydon police station but was taken there after someone reported a sighting of her in town.

Shelley Pratt, 14, of South Norwood, disappeared on Friday, November 9, nearly 14 weeks ago.

Her mother, Lisa Pratt, said this morning Shelley is still being debriefed by police and is currently with her social worker.

She said the family weren’t sure exactly when Shelley would be back but are looking forward to being reunited with the teenager.

Speaking yesterday after hearing Shelley had been found, Tony Pratt said he was over the moon that she was safe.

He said: “I am over the moon. It has been a long time she has been missing but it is all good now.

“We can start getting our lives back on track now and sort things out. It is a big weight off my shoulders. I was getting stressed and having chest pains. Now she is back the pains have gone.

“The lights will show everyone she is home. I cannot wait to give her a big hug and a kiss. Her brothers and sisters will be delighted. It is amazing.”
