A driver was injured when two cars crashed last night. 

The man, believed to be a 28-year-old, was taken to hospital for treatment after the smash on Purley Way shortly before 10pm. 

He was able to walk after the crash and his injuries are thought to be minor. 

London Ambulance Service confirmed it sent one ambulance crew and a single responder in a car to  the junction of Purley Way, Edgehill Road and Highfield Road after being called at 9.53pm.

How many more accidents have to occur on this part of Purley Way? Something needs to be done.
