Young people involved in the Building Young Entrepreneurs scheme run by Chris Syrus, the winner of Croydon's Next Top Role Model, have developed a youth management company called Kreativ Monstarz.

The team aim to provide a stage for other performing artists and will run community activities for young people in the Croydon Area.

Their first event Love Life Love Music Talent Showcase, will take place at Croydon Conference Centre on Thursday, February 28, between 6pm and 9pm.

Actor and rapper Asher D will headline and judge the event, which costs £5.

Mr Syrus said: "Our aim is to create community events in Croydon which celebrates young talent, music and the arts and for the Kreativ Monstarz team to grow, with young people increasing self esteem and developing responsibility, leadership and team working skills, managing and organising these."
