A school will be wearing their rugby shirt with pride after designing it themselves.

Canterbury, England Rugby’s Official Kit Partner, teamed up with Rugby Football Union, to give a number of secondary state schools to design their own rugby shirt.

Archbishop Tension school, in Croydon, are one of the schools that have been selected to make their own bespoke kit.

The unique rugby shirts are to be revealed when they are presented to the schools at Twickenham on Sunday March 10. Chris Stephenson, CEO of Canterbury said: “This is a fantastic initiative by the RFU, and one we were keen to support.

“The kit design workshops were incredible, the pupils were creative, imaginative and keen to understand and learn about the values of rugby and the thought process behind a shirt design.”
