Fairfield Halls had its best-selling school half term to date in February.
The theatre was packed all week with customers who flocked to see a variety of shows, including Terry Deary’s popular Horrible Histories, dance duo Anton and Erin and a screening of the Bond film Skyfall.
Folk band Bellowhead also attracted a big crowd. A free beer festival was put on before the concert and featured the Cronx Brewery.
Simon Thomsett, the Chief Executive, said: "We have had a fantastic week and are delighted.
"The building has been buzzing and it’s been great to see such a strong support from our family audience through the week.
"There’s truly been something for everyone."
