A schoolboy is producing a four-part series documenting a historic park through the seasons.

Mark Turner, a 16-year-old student at Sutton Grammar School and aspiring natural history producer, will be using his own filming kit to share his experiences of Nonsuch Park.

After growing up near the park and becoming a steward for The Friends of Nonsuch, Mark developed a keen interest for parks, particularly Nonsuch – an open space which has produced many memories for him growing up.

Mark said: "I’m not looking for money. I want people to enjoy my work and learn something new about their local area."

Viewers can look forward to gaining an insight into the organisations of Nonsuch as well as expert guests who will explain more about stories specific to the park when the documentaries appear on YouTube this year.

Mark hopes people can use his documentaries in years to come to remember how Nonsuch used to be.

Mark added: "Nonsuch also contains a wide range of interests for all people and I really want to show people what Nonsuch offers, from rich wildlife to the deep history."
