Students at Oasis Academy Coulsdon raised £400 after kick starting the school's fundraising for Comic Relief.

Staff and 26 students slept over at the school last Friday and played dodge ball, made pizza, watched dvd and even played hide and seek around the academy.

Each student paid £15 to sleep over.

Family leader Sue Buckingham said: "The students were great.

"The girls went to sleep by 12.30am, but the boys wouldn't stop talking.

"I have a feeling the students will remember this for a long time."
