A cash pot of £10,000 is available for sports clubs and individual sportsmen and women across Elmbridge in 2013/14.
Sports clubs based in the borough are able to apply for grant aid from Elmbridge Council, up to a maximum of £750 per club, towards the cost of equipment or capital projects.
Grant aid of up to £350 is also available for individual sportsmen and women who live in the borough and have gained regional or national honours.
The money can be used towards training, travelling and competition costs as well as the purchase of equipment.
All applications must be received by Friday, May 3, for initial consideration by the Elmbridge Sports Council grants sub-committee in June.
