Firefighters rescued two elderly people from a house fire in Court Road, Banstead, in the early hours of this morning.
An Epsom fire officer said the station was called at 12.30am and managed to put out the fire with "very little damage" to the property.
A police spokeswoman said the fire was deemed "non-suspicious".
The two occupants of the house were taken to hospital for checks.
