I support Peter Russell’s letter (No need for Fox cull, March 7).
We have a cat and recently a vixen has taken to coming in to our garden to look for a bit of food. The vixen gets the leftover cat food or the remains of our meal.
It is not much food, a few mouthfuls perhaps, enough to tide her over to her next meal, which comes naturally from deceased birds. We are also conscious not to make her tame or rely on us for food.
If councils wish to consider a cull perhaps they should look closer to home by culling any dead wood that may reside within their own offices first.
