Final Saturday morning concer at Fairfield Halls
The final Saturday morning family concert is to take place at Fairfield Halls this weekend.
Over the last 47 years more than 300 family concerts have been performed to audiences of over 350,000 by Arthur Davison and his son Darrell.
The last adventure 'From Infinity to Beyond,' starts at 11am, will see the Croydon Symphony Orchestra travel into deepest space with music from Star Wars, Dr Who, ET, and Star Trek.
The musical story will be narrated by actress Katharine Mils and Conducted by Darrell Davison.
Mr Davison said: "Generations of young people have been introduced to the rich heritage of orchestral classics through the excitement of these colourful Symphony Concerts."
