More than 50 students at Harris Academy Merton held their second charity fashion show in aid of Fashion Targets Breast Cancer.

A group of 56 students performed to an audience of 250 guests on a purpose built set which included a 20ft long elevated catwalk.

A fashion, fun and music packed night saw themed collections ‘Space-New World,’ ‘Urban-Street,’ ‘Mad Hatters,’ ‘Prom,’ Nine til Five,’ ‘Cultural’ and a teachers collection.

The Prom collection involving students from Years 11 and 13, saw a collection of dresses supplied by dress specialist Bonita.

The night included performances by rising stars Portia Emare, Blaise Thresher, Scrufizzer and Flirta D.

Rhiann Campbell from Year 11 and Solomon Nunoo from Year 7 were crowned Mr and Miss Harris Academy Merton 2013, for their commitment and determination during the project, which celebrated student diversity.
