There was just one day of racing this weekend for Kingston Royals’ swimmers as they competed in the last of the individual events at this year’s Surrey County Championships.
Their collective efforts left the club in third place, out of 23 clubs, in the points table behind Guildford and Woking who are first and second respectively.
Swimmers from the club travelled through the snow to Crystal Palace to compete in the 50m sprint events.
Ten more medals (six silver and four bronze) and 18 finalist places were achieved as several hundred swimmers from across Surrey piled into the National Sports Centre.
