A swimathon helped raise over £1000 for charity in Africa.
Nonsuch Rotary Swimathon involving Rosebery Girls School swim team raised a total of £1,213.35.
A cheque was given to president Chris Hughes of the Rotary Club of Sutton Nonsuch, with half of the money being used to support its African School building project in Uganda.
The other half of the money will be divided equally between Arthritis UK (nominated by year eight student Emily Palmer) and Rosebery School’s own African school project – Elizabeth House in Uganda.
