People are invited to vote for their favourite shopkeepers in a new competition organised by Elmbridge Council.
The Elmbridge Independent Retailer of the Year competition will put the spotlight on some of the best businesses found on the borough’s high streets.
The six categories to vote in are best shop display or shop front, best customer service, most innovative retailer, best newcomer, greatest contribution to the community and best independent retailer in Elmbridge.
The competition allows residents to show local shops how much they are appreciated and increase the profile of the borough’s retail champions.
Voting opens on April 1 at elmbridge.gov.uk/retcomp and closes on April 30.
Five voters will be chosen at random to win a £50 voucher each, to spend at one of the winning businesses.
