Students' creative talents received royal approval when Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall paid a visit to a prestigious borough school this morning.
The Duchess was treated to an all-singing, all-dancing tour of the BRIT School in Selhurst, where the stars of the future showcased their skills.
During her visit to the renowned performing arts school, she saw pupils rehearsing a live TV entertainment show, dropped in on a dance class and was treated to a vocal medley by a school singing group.
She watched singer Leyla Lay recording a track in the school's state-of-the-art performing studio and was impressed by the skills of make-up artists.
Her visit culminated in a sneak preview of the school's new show, the musical Pippin.
The star of the show, drama student Turrell Morris, then unveiled a commemorative plaque to mark the royal visit.
Camilla last visited Croydon with her husband Charles, the Prince of Wales, in September.
