STOURBRIDGE methodists are coming over all sentimental in readiness for a concert to take place at their New Road headquarters later this month.

The concert, which is entitled ‘Love is in the Air’ promises an evening of romantic music with profits from the event going to support Mary Stevens Hospice.

Scheduled for Saturday April 20, the concert will feature experienced Malvern based soprano Linda Tolchard, who will be accompanied by Kevin Gill on the piano.

Also appearing will be Katherine Thomas who plays harp with the Welsh National Opera and has performed with artists such as Katherine Jenkins, Bryn Terfel and the Manic Street Preachers.

In addition, violinist Joanna Chambers who features with the English Symphony Orchestra will be appearing plus Catherine Handley, who is principal flute with the Welsh Sinfonia and West of England Philharmonic Orchestra.
