A mother and her drug dealer son have avoided prison after police raided their house to find cannabis and amphetamines littered around their house.
Daniel Lambourne, 20, has been given a 12 month suspended jail sentence on March 26 after police raided his home in Peterborough Road, Carshalton, and found a quantity of cannabis.
His mother, Jacqueline Lambourne, pleaded guilty in December to possessing amphetamines after police found some in her handbag.
She received a conditional discharge of 12 months and ordered to pay costs of £85.
Carrying out a drugs warrant, officers forced entry to Lambourne’s home on Wednesday 8 August last year shortly after 8pm after Daniel Lambourne had been seen earlier in the day by police apparently making deals in Poulter Park.
Lambourne was detained in an upstairs bedroom whilst his mother Jaqueline Lambourne was detained downstairs.
A big bag of drugs was found in a bedroom whilst some of the drugs were openly on display in the living room. Both were arrested.
