God-fearing yarn bombers have struck in Morden.
Colourfully knitted ‘tree warmers’ have appeared along a residential street in Morden, sparking curiosity over their maker.
The rainbow knitwear was spotted by a nearby resident on two trees on the corners of Abbotsbury Road and Bodmin Road, and Abbotsbury Road and Bury Grove in Morden on Tuesday morning.
The mystery knitter, or knitters, left a message tied to one of the trees which read, “blessed are those who trust in the Lord.
“They are like trees planted along a riverbank with roots that reach deep into the water.”
