A fire broke out in a popular pub this morning caused by an unattended candle.
Fire crews were called to The Half Moon, in Lower Richmond Road, Putney, at 1.42am.
A person walking past called firefighters after seeing it through a window.
Two people upstairs had also slept through the smoke alarm.
It took an hour to put out, with the blaze located in the main section of the bar.
No one needed hospital treatment.
A spokesperson for the London Fire Brigade said: "It wasn't that bad. It would have been a lot worse had that person not seen it."
