Pensioners have made a youtube video warning the elderly about scam artists.

A group of older people, fed up with being seen as a target group for scammers, has decided to fight back with the help of a drama workshop.

Fallen Angels has produced a video giving tips and warning people about the possible cons.

A spoof crime scene interview which features in the 15 minute film, gives a really good insight into how tricksters pull off their scams, according to Age UK.

Age UK Sutton's Money Matters Manager, Phil Dale said: "The DVD is a great idea and I hope to show it at future workshops to make people more aware of potential risks."

The video is due to be launched on April 25 at the Sutton Life Centre, from 12-1pm.

The project was supported by the Safer Sutton Partnership and Sutton Community Fund and has received help and advice from many local organisations including Age UK Sutton.

If you would like to arrange to see the DVD, sign up for an Age UK workshop or volunteer your services please contact Phil Dale on 0208770 5360 or email moneymatters@ageuksutton.org.uk
