Kelly Brook's boyfriend Danny Cipriani was rushed to hospital after being hit by a bus during a pub crawl last night.

The rugby star was treated for concussion at the scene in Woodhouse Lane in Leeds, West Yorkshire, after he plunged into the windscreen of the double-decker following a boozy night out with his Sale Sharks team mates.

Born in Roehampton, Cipriani was raised in Raynes Park and went to school in Croydon.

A shocked eye witness took their Twitter account to reveal details about the incident.

User Billee Jade Brack (‏@billee_jade) tweeted: "Some guy's been hit by a bus outside Leeds uni and every bit of the bus front window is smashed to pieces, imagine what the guy looks like. (sic)"

The 25-year-old sportsman - who had painted his face for the night's antics - was taken to hospital by paramedics for further tests.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper, Danny's manager, James Williamson, said: "Danny's spending the night in hospital.

"X-rays and scans will be carried out overnight. He's obviously in pain. He was running across the road and just misjudged the speed of the bus."

Danny rekindled his relationship with Kelly, 33, in January and only this week the rugby player had spoke about how the how the 'Celebrity Juice' star had been having calming influence on his life.

Revealing their reconciliation was going well, he said: "It's been working fine so far. She's good for me so it's all good ... She's a very positive person, she's not a big drinker and she's very supportive. I don't see how that could be a bad thing.

"She's very positive about what I need to do over the next couple of months and knows I'm focused on my rugby."
