Funny man Tim Vine had his audience in stitches at the opening of a new fancy dress and costume shop this week.
Vine was on hand for to crack a few one liners to mark the opening of the Lantern Arts Centre costume shop in Tolverne Road, Raynes Park.
For more than 20 years the arts centre has been building up its collection of wacky, weird and wonderful costumes which have been used in hundreds of performances from Guys and Dolls to Cinderella.
Now, their collection is being opened to the public available for any occasion be it a fancy dress party, murder mystery or high school play.
Some of the costumes have been worn by actors who have appeared in TV shows including Doctors and Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows.
Comedian Tim Vine, a friend and patron of the Lantern Arts Centre, officially opened the store on April 27.
