Actress and wildlife campaigner Virginia McKenna presented drama awards at a glitzy gala night on Sunday.
The star of British film Born Free handed out trophies at the 10th anniversary of the Leatherhead Drama Festival.
Actor Sir Michael Caine, the festival’s patron, was unable to attend the gala night at Leatherhead Theatre due to filming commitments.
Virginia McKenna makes a speech
Festival chairman David Brett said: “Virginia McKenna presented all the awards and enthralled the audience with her fond memories of her live theatre experiences and in particular her appearances at the Thorndike Theatre in the ‘old days’.
“She also complimented and thanked the two drama groups who produced such a wonderful, balanced evening of entertainment.”
The junior winner of the Sir Michael Caine Drama Awards was Applause Youth Theatre Company with Burn by Deborah Gearing.

The adult winner of the Sir Michael Caine Drama Awards was Cobham Players with September in Rain by John Godber.
