A memorial service for parents to remember their children who have died has been organised by Croydon University Chaplaincy.
The Butterfly Service will take place at St Barnabas Chapel at Croydon University Hospital on today (Sunday, May 26) at 3pm.
The service is not only for those parents whose children have died at the hospital, but for any parents who would like to use the service as an opportunity to remember their child, wherever or whenever they died.
The memorial will include music, song and prayer. There will also be the lighting of candles and a roll call of the names of each child whose memory will be celebrated.
Free parking will be available in the Woodcroft Road car park adjacent to the chapel.
