Women should pay special attention to what they wear to Ladies’ Day this year as its organisers have teamed up with an upmarket designer to headhunt the most fashionable spectators.
The Investec Derby Festival has partnered with Harvey Nichols for a What Best to Wear style competition, which will take place on Ladies Day, at Epsom Downs Racecourse, on May 31.As part of the competition, Harvey Nichols will task fashion scouts to headhunt a selection of the most stylish attendees throughout the day.
The winner, to be judged by Harvey Nichols’ group fashion director, Paula Reed, will win a £5,000 in-store shopping spree.
Harvey Nichols will also host a Beauty SOS Tent on-site for the duration of the two-day meet.
Ms Reed said: "The Investec Derby is a highlight of the London social calendar and an opportunity for glamorous racegoers to showcase their fabulous outfits and headwear.
"We can’t wait to see what this year’s attendees have planned."
The Investec Derby Festival takes place on May 31 to June 1 at Epsom Downs Racecourse.
