Police have released an image of a blood spattered man who they want to speak to in connection with the incident.

Officers from the homicide and serious crime command are investigating and believe the lone suspect tricked Mr Iacovou into opening a door to get behind the counter and carry out the attack.

Officers believe the attack was a bungled robbery although at this stage it is not known if any money was stolen.
