Buck Smith appeared at the Old Bailey today charged with murder
A 49-year-old man has denied killing a pensioner two days after Christmas.
Buck Smith, of Althedene Road, Wandsworth, is accused of murdering Delores Smith two days after Christmas last year.
Police were called to Kennet Close, in Way Down Estate, off York Road, Battersea, to find the 86-year-old suffering from head injuries.
Mr Smith appeared at the Old Bailey today and pleaded not guilty to her murder.
He will next appear on trial at the Old Bailey on November 11.
