A spring fair was held to raise money for meals out and a trip to the seaside for elderly people.
Sutton police officers attended the event at the South Carshalton Senior Centre’s spring fair on Friday, May 31.
The event featured a raffle, a sale, food and music.
Funds raised will go towards a coach trip to West Wittering beach in West Sussex this August.
Kathy Morgan, manager at the centre in Oaks Way, thanked the public for their support and said: “It’s a community coming together to provide elderly people with something to look forward to."
PCSO Mario Palermo said: “The fair was a great success with plenty going on with lots to eat and music to listen to.
"Everyone seemed to have a good time.”
