The chairman of Croydon Epilepsy Society has died at the age of 72.

Jim Rossington died on April 22, and had been part of the charity since it was founded by his wife Carole in the late seventies.

The society is currently based at the Len Pyant Community Centre in Elmwood Road and relies on donations from members and supporters.

Mr Rossington's funeral is open to anyone who knew him and will take place on Thursday, June 13 at 11.30am at St Augustine's Church in St Augustine's Avenue, South Croydon.
