A classic car and family fun day will take place in Purley on Sunday.

The charity event which coincides with Father's Day has been organised by the Rotary Club of Croydon Whitgift.

There will be a range of classic cars and bikes on display at the event as well as a bouncy castle, slide and balloon race among activities for children.

Classic vehicles taking part at the event include an Austin 10 Lichfield 1934, a Jaguar MK II 1964, a 1961 Aston Martin DB4 and a Bedford Fire Engine TL12601982.

As well as the cars, there will also be displays from the London Ambulance Service, the London Fire Brigade and there will Metropolitan Police will also show their historical vehicle collection.

One lucky visitor could go home with a new car if they win the Win a Mini competition.

All proceeds from the event will go to Rotary charities The Wave Trust, Sanderstead Neighbourhood Care and The Rotary Foundation.

The event will take place between 10am and 5pm on Purley Rotary Field. Entry is £3 for adults, first child is free, second child is £1.
