Opticians have donated more than 300 high-visibility vests to a primary school in a bid to keep kids in sight.
Specsavers, based in The Broadway in Wimbledon, donated the fluorescent yellow vests to Wimbledon Park Primary School in Havana Road as part of their campaign to highlight the link between vision and road safety.
The donated vests were worn at the school’s annual Leg IT event last month where parents, staff and children ran, cycled and and walked through Richmond Park to raised more than £1,000 for their school library.
Rhonda Bigwood, who is on the school’s PTA, said: "We’d like to say a massive thank you to all who took part and to Specsavers Wimbledon for their support and generosity."
