Juniors and veterans of Moslesey Boat Club will row 40 miles to raise money towards a new community rowing tank.
The club, which has Olympians and World Cup champions as members, will participate in the event on Saturday, July 13.
The rowers will start by Henley and end at Moseley Boat Club later the same day.
The community rowing tank at the club will also be available to the whole community, with schools and organisations already showing interest.
Ian Knight, president of Molesey Boat Club, said: “This is the first time anything like this has been attempted by the club and we are all very excited about taking up this challenge.
“The club is especially keen to engage the local community and welcomes any support they can give.”
The sponsored row is being held in partnership with Princess Alice Hospice, with half the money going to support them.
Donations can be made online at moleseyboatclub.co.uk.
