The report states: “His passion for the college and its students is shared by his dedicated senior team and by his entire staff. They are strongly committed to making sure that the college continually improves.”
Inspectors also praised the school's wide curriculum which includes Chinese, astronomy, computer science and creative writing.
His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales and celebrity chef Jamie Oliver visited the college in November 2012 to talk about healthy eating and the schools allotment and chicken coop.
Prospective students and parents are invited to attend the Year 6 open evening on September 24 at 5.30pm or the Sixth Form open evening on October 24 at 5pm.
