A community worker is to skydive 5,000ft to raise money to help children affected by domestic violence.
Briony Streets who works for Amicus Horizon is doing the sponsored jump on July 27, for the housing association's charity Fresh Visions.
The charity helps children who are the victims of domestic abuse, providing counselling and therapeutic support to about 70 child victims every year as they rebuild their lives.
As part of their work, the charity also aims to steer young people away from gangs by getting them into jobs, training or community volunteering.
The 26-year-old hopes to raise at least £500 for the charity.
She said: "Fresh Visions does some great and much needed work helping children affected by domestic violence.
"I thought throwing myself out of a plane would be a great way to raise money for this worth charity."
