No repeat visit: Inter Milan last came to Selhurst Park in 2005
Inter Milan have pulled out of a pre-season friendly with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
The Italian giants and the Eagles were in talks to meet in south London on August 10, a week before the new Premier League season kicks off.
But the Nerazzurri withdrew at the last minute after being offered a deal to play fellow European heavyweights Real Madrid in America on the same day.
Palace are however working on another alternative and are hopeful of securing a deal with another big name European team to fill the gap vacated by Milan.
