A man in his mid 20s was killed after being struck by a train.
The man, believed to be aged 26 and from Carshalton, fell under the train just before 9pm on Saturday at Clapham Junction station.
A duty officer, single responder in a car and an ambulance crew attended the incident.
Paramedics treated the man but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A British Transport Police spokesman said: "The incident is currently being treated as non-suspicious and a file will be prepared for the Coroner.
"The man’s family has been informed."
Firefighters attended the scene before the line was handed back to Network Rail at 9.46pm.
