A group of men drove ambulances 6,500km across 10 countries in order to donate them to people in Pakistan.
Five Sutton men were among a those who drove a fleet of ambulances all the way from Nottingham to Pakistan over the course of 15 days.
Umair Ali Khan, Sajjad Ahmad Khan, Naveed Ahmad, Uzair Ali Khan and Malik Mubashar took turns driving the decommissioned NHS ambulances to Pakistan as part of the Big Drive 2013.
The group started from Nottingham Forest's City Ground stadium earlier this year and drove through the channel tunnel to France then through Belgium, Germany, Austria, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Iran and into Pakistan where the ambulances were left to be distributed to where they are needed.
One of the drivers, Sajjad Khan of Cressingham Road, said: "We loved it. It was amazing. I loved the Austrian scenery, in German there were snow covered mountains. It was an incredible experience."
Mr Khan, a driving instructor, said none of the men knew each other before the event but have since become firm friends and met for a meal at the Lahore Spice restaurant in Sutton High Street on Sunday.
